Granules India Limited, a vertically integrated pharmaceutical company, today announced the appointment of Dr. Saumen Chakraborty as Non-executive Independent Director on the Board of the Company with immediate effect. Dr. Chakraborty retired as the President and Chief Financial Officer of Dr. Reddy\u2019s in November 2020 and continued to advise the company for the next one year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With over 37 years of experience in the field of strategic and operational aspects of management, Dr. Saumen Chakraborty has played significant role in the evolution of Dr. Reddy\u2019s as a global pharmaceutical company from India. Prior to Dr. Reddy\u2019s, he worked at CMC, C-DOT, Eicher and Tecumseh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
